I opened up a brand new Bushy yesterday and the bolt carrier was cut just like the Colt ones.  Is this a new Bushmaster Bolt carrier?  Does anyone have any info on this?

This does not seem normal. Something is amiss. I like the closer to milspec full circle semi bolt carrier that Bushmaster has always had. The one you have is one of two things. Either it's a Colt bolt carrier (does it look like new and have a C stamped on it?) or a modified GI full auto carrier that has been used. I would take it up with the place you bought it from. The only thing for sure is that is it's not from Bushamster.
