Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 1911: fair price for a colt

hi all,

i am looking into buying a 1911.  there is a colt gold cup a guy is selling for $750.  it has never been fired and he has changed out the siights on it.  is that a fair price for one?  also, how does a colt compare to a kimber?
