Posolutely, absitively. If you keep it stored away, you'll only benefit from any profits generated
after it's sold & gone. The real pleasure is
owning &
shooting it. Certain things in this world possess a value that transcends words or $$$. Being able to own & operate a preban, customized to your tastes (and hampered by very few limits), is definitely one of the funner things you can do in life, IMO.
Also, consider that, if the ugly trend of gunbans continues unchecked, this generation could conceivably be the last to have the freedom to enjoy these fine works. So, don't waste it by permanently parking it on a shelf or in a safe. Shoot it, take care of it, and repeat the cycle throughout your life.
If potential abuse concerns you, consider having it surface-treated with Birdsong, ARS-Metacol 3, or similar finishes to enhance its life and add an extra measure durability.
