Still the same lumen outputs for everything as far as I can tell. Was hoping for a V series light with a higher white light output.

That might kill off some of the interest in aftermarket mounts, many of which are specifically designed around mounting your lights as close to top rail mounted accessories (LAMs, BUIS, etc.) as possible AND you can get it in either Picatinny or MLOK.

Infinite offset adjustability might be pretty nice.

This does look pretty slick. And yeah, it means Arisaka/Steamlight/Modlite, etc are stuck with the old-school way of having to spend a bunch of money on a mount that may or may not get your light as close as you want it to other accessories without not fitting. It works pretty well for most applications, but I know I've spent a lot of time over the years looking for photos/reviews that will inform whether or not the scout light mount I'm looking at will work for my specific combination, etc.

Very cool - $270 seems like a very fair price for something like that. Will be interested to see it strapped onto some of your blasters on the bottom rail or under a handgun too.

Thanks... I do feel the need to point out that within the last week I was quoted a lower price than that...

That said, maybe there was an ARFCOM member discount built in to that price?

And I’m a buyer TODAY for at minimum 1, probably 2.

It'll be interesting to see how that works at 3 or 9 o'clock on a small PCC, and what sort of holsters it might fit into on a pistol.

There will be a add to cart special Shot Show  pricing for the new LAM.

Yes, it's the first unit to have an adjustable power level to .2mW, .4mW and .7mW. I'm very impressed with durability, functionality and price points for what it does.

More pics and better rez spec sheets. Sorry, pic was a cell phone pic of the sheet.

More to come...

Actually it was from 2 years ago when we first were attempting to get this project launched, we could have gotten to that price point at $199. I think there still some pretty amazing capabilites for $269 retail and with all those discount codes with retail add to cart pricing, you will see some good pricing. We will also be having a Shot Show special price launch pre-order next month.

I'm very exctited about this LAM, and we hope the community likes it too. We've been trying to get this out the door for 2 years!

We have a dozen or so units here with us and many are being produced as I write this for a February/March launch.

Do you have any experience with IR lasers? Crimson is no longer making their IR rail laser, Lasermax was ok but far from great, so if this is better/sturdier for sub $300 with a variable powered beam it will be great for handguns and PDW's. At times .7 is to much so being able to go down to .2 will have benefits.

Perhaps this venture can lead to a variable powered compact dual beam IR pointer/Illuminator down the road.

Pulsar just upgraded the screen in one of the Axions and thats it. Hardly a Breach killer.

All XP models with the "2" designation have an upgraded sensor thats said to make the picture better.

And Pulsar released a firmware update for ALL Trails & Helions.
