$3500 sounds a bit much even for me living in the EU where Gen3 availability is what it is. The Ghost, as far as I know, comes with an Ekran FEP tube, hence the low resolution. Never seen one live, but from images they seem to have a nice image, but for that kind of money why not just grab a new with a L3 tube? Thin filmed new L3 tubes are sure to kick the Ekran's arse.

The more recent Gen 3 Ghost 14’s have L3 filmless white phosphor tubes but the older ones had Russian tubes. I definitely wouldn’t pay $3500 for one with a Russian tube, but it may be worth it if it has an L3 tube with spec sheet and the price is right.
