What's the best clip-on option these days?

I could go either way between i2 vs thermal....but probably leaning towards i2.

I've got an 18" 6.5 Grendel with a Kahles 1-6x on top.

I want something light amd small and that is appropriate for a 1-6x scope.

Questions:

1. Would a clip on like a BNS work with the scope ser to 1x?

2. What's up with the Knight's UNS-A2? Any good? Overpriced?

3. Is a supertube necessary for a clip on? Or is a "regular tube" suffecient?

4. Would Flir's upcoming clip-on be a good option or is it going to be a compromise as compared to a good i2 clip-on.

5. Anybody have pics of a LPVS set on 1x looking through a clip-on?

6. NVD BNS vs Knights?

when you say best are you talking about best Night vision clip on or are you including thermal in that comparison as well?
