Hi there,

Thanks for the informative post and thread.

Question: Are L3 units more robust than the ITT units overall due to the thicker film, or just in relation to recoil?

Anyone know anything about Photonis 4g tubes?how do ITT Pinnacle HP+ stand up against them? I have seen recent footage of both and the White Phos Photonis looks really good...I just don’t know anything about the name. I’m pretty new at this and now that I have to spend my own money I’m a little overwhelmed by all the info out there. It seems that no matter what tube you choose, you run the risk of receiving a defect of some sort (peppering, etc...).

The new L3 units are more recoil resilient, especially the new filmless WPT tubes. L3 has really cracked the code on these and they are doing it right.

I came to this thread precisely hoping to learn more about the white phosphorus type night vision and the OP was a tremendous help.

Is there anything else you can tell me about the white versions?

My knowledge is currently limited to this video.
