How do you like the panobridge ? Have you had it for awhile ? Ive been looking at them but concerned that it will get loose despite tightening overtime.

Haven't had it long, but so far I really like it.  Obviously I don't extend the panobridge out to it's full capabilities, but I do expand it out a bit from what a traditional bino set would be capable of.  It's amazing how much more you can see in your field of view. I need more time with it before I can speak on it's durability, but I have watched a handful of videos and no one has yet to have a issue with it.

I like it a lot, I can wear it during the daytime at work for pranks shenanigans, and spread it far enough that I can still see with my field of view with each eye.  It’s a hit with the kids, who scream at their mum, Look! That guy has big eyes!

It’s loosening up over time, so I need to see if I can re-tighten it

Still waiting for my PVS-14, but my setup is about complete for now.  Suggestions/advice welcome.  Potentially considering swapping the ops-core carbon to the pts mtek flux cause both are bumps anyways but at a 1/3rd the price, and have read good things.  Looking for recommendations for a lanyard/retention as well.

Anybody have opinions on a Voodoo Tactical level IIIa helmet?  Sportsman’s Guide has them available for what seems like a great price compared to an OpsCore. Just wanted to know if I should pass if they aren’t up to spec. Thanks!

Own an Ops-Core and Team Wendy and this is what I'd spend money on before an unknown brand (never heard of VooDoo) I often reach for this before the others. Came out of the box comfy as hell. My 6 sense....

Yeah, I have an OpsCore bump and love it. But I have to turn in my issued ACH soon for retirement. Was looking for a ballistic. I’d never heard of VooDoo either. Didn’t know if they were another “Hard Head Vets” China product. The price seems too good to be true. $350ish for a IIIA.

That’s what a DD200 is for.

I have that Shellback helmet and it's good to go. I bought mine right before they started selling it with the Wilcox shroud and when I emailed them they sent me one at no charge. I wore the helmet for a couple hours tonight doing a nigh vision hike with a buddy.

Had to look that one up since its been awhile. Only write offs I recall were 'Combat Loss" items, unless it was a rifle which resulted in a Battalion on line doing a grid search!

Do they still do this when one of you Army guys loses gear?

Many a Member have said a "Like Button" would be a great idea (Shellback) but I have no clue how that would impact the length of a thread...

For sure, and Anker’s good stuff. I’d just never seen one on a helmet and I was wondering if there was an application for it that I could learn from.

if you also use thermal and or digital nvg its useful, and if you are going to haul dead weight to balance your nods at least it could also do something useful.

Its a chinesium helmet. Shroud works - kind of, and the suspension system isnt very comfortable long term.

If you do go this route i would recommend a h-nape harness and 4d ach pads and perhaps a new shroud.

I changed things up and am MUCH happier with this setup. Being able to pop the "ears" out makes donning/doffing the helmet super fast and easy. If I am going to be doing more shooting or indoor shooting, I pop these under the Sordins. They work amazingly well. I really like the Sordins over the Peltors, by the way. The robustness and build quality are readily apparent, and I feel like they get in the way of my Benelli's stock much less.

Panos always look cool. I remember this non-gun-guy friend of mine thought they looked stupid. I had to remind him that he thanked me for bringing my pistol to his house while we were all trapped during Hurricane Harvey. Had to put him in his place.

Those 3M ARC rail mounts, not a fun time to mount the Peltors to, but they are awesome.

Decided I wanted something lighter weight and less bulky than my OpsCore FAST helmet to pack along on backpacking and camping trips. Picked up a Crye Nightcap + Battery Pouch + OpsCore 3-Hole Shroud. Along with my PVS-14 and INVG Hyper mount, it all packs down into my TNVC padded NVG case with room to spare.

Obviously more parts are needed (lanyard and illuminator at least).

But a decent start on her helmet setup.
