Not that much footage through any PVS-31 out there. What is odd to my eye is the internal reflections - wonder why that wasn't eliminated from the completely new design eyepieces. That is something I hate the most about PVS-14 eyepieces. |

Damn you all suck. I have been jonesing for NV for a while. And of course the LE/MIL only stuff looks amazing.

I took these awhile ago through my DSLR. Still trying to figure out how to get the best image but these came out rather well I thought. NV is a TNVC “commercial spec” from a few years ago. This unit has been awesome and looks just as good in low illum situations as regular units. Lighting was with pretty good moon.

Apparently I got a few shots of the SpaceX last night. Totally random that I was out and saw it.

You don't see the "dead" area of the phosphor screen at all, it just cuts out right where the, what I would guess is, plastic ring starts. Still wondering why that material produces so much glare, otherwise it's really nice looking. Would also seem the objective lenses and/or tubes are different as I can't see much if almost any vignetting (darker edges) in your pics even when boosted in photoshop. Keep em coming, this is such a rare treat. Perhaps almost illegal for me to watch "through" your nice unit ;-) PS. next step, please tear it down and show us the inside of the unit too. I am eager to know what the tube looks like - is it like the ANVIS-10 but just 18mm |
