I purchased a Ramo 1919 side plate and soon after transferring to me I assembled it into a complete gun. The paperwork still reflects that it is a side plate. How do I go about getting my paperwork updated to show it was built into a complete gun?

The side plate is the MG.  Mating it to a parts kit doesn’t change the classification of it.

This.

Just like you do not update a DIAS to show what gun it is in.

If you want, send BATFE a letter stating it was assembled into a complete M1919 and list the barrel and overall lengths (current caliber too, if you want). They're not going to send you another Form 4 with those lengths added, however, and notifying them of the change is unnecessary.
