Model 98/22 could have been made anywhere from 1922 - 1924 ? . Many were resold to Turkey which is were many of the imports came from .  Early ones will have lots of WW1 Reperations GEW 98 parts.

Owned a few and all were great shooters esp with Turkish 154gr S Ball

Thanks.  Were these receivers made in BRNO or in Germany?

Made in Brno. The early version with WWI sights might have various maker parts but the 98/22 was all domestically made by the time they had the standard flat leaf sights.
