This is a Polish trainer. If it's what you've got, it should be dated 1953, 54 or 55 on the receiver ring below the circle 11 logo.

Originally would have looked like a Radom G98 Mauser long rifle but someone semi sporterized it. They made a Wz29 version that looked mimic'd a Wz29 short rifle, also a Wz31 version. |
