Anyone have any experience with this? I've had the 1970's stuff and it worked great, is the 1950's reliable and safe, or is it 40% cheaper because it's bad stuff?

I've shot ~280 rounds through a Yugo-captured 98k.

The primers are hard and deep-set. Out of all those 280, I had three that failed to fire but a recock and second attempt did the trick. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it because my rifle shoots it well. I would look at the firing pin protrusion on your rifle to make sure it is near the high-end of the spec, that should ensure good performance with this ammo.

Is the newer 1970's production boxer or berden primed?
