I bought a beech stocked K31 from them about a month ago. All numbers matching, bluing in excellent condition, clean bore, name tag, and the typical beaver chewed stock... still looks better than most that I have been seeing at recent gun shows.

I've bought 2.

Typical worn finish and chewed up stock, all of it easy to refinish and be pretty again.

strip the shellac with denatured Alcohol, then coat in boiled linseed oil until you get the finish you want, then a week later follow up with some shellac if you think it needs it.  Refinish the metal with brownell's cold blue 44/40 paste.

of course if you want to do anything to it, it won't at all affect how accurate it shoots.

MauserMark - what is the rifle you are holding in your avatar.
Is that what I think it is?

Sounds great.  Post some pics if/when you do a resto job on it.

I don't do "hand picked".   Typically they will pull five rifles out of the bunch and then pick the best of the five, then charge you $10. for the service.  Theoretically, as time goes on, the "hand picked" quality will be less and less.

My original plan was just to own one each of the most popular C&R's.  Then I screwed it up by getting two Mosins then another Mauser.  At one time I owned two K31's, but now I'm back to one.  Looks like I'm locked into another K31 and Enfield at the very least.

Got mine Friday!
Stock has some pretty good dings in it but maybe they'll work out. Numbers all match.
Finish looks real good a few bare spots. I did have a tag under my buttplate.
Didn't get a sling with mine though.
Looks good though. Once I get it cleaned up I'll throw up a pic or two.
