I'm wanting to start collecting WW2 Jap weapons, but need to do research before I buy.  I don't want to buy junk, etc...  Any good reference books out there, or web links?  I'd love to find a book similar to Law's Backbone of the Wehrmacht.
Thanks

"small arms of the world" is a good place to start -- not perfect, but contains references for virtually every country's military weapons, both current and older (e.g. US section contains information on the garand and 03 springfield). Typically includes field stripping information, length, weight, etc data.

I would check amazon.com for a used copy.
