I picked-up this 1974 Glenfield/Marlin Model 75 last week at a local pawn shop for $100.00 OTD.....Not a smoking deal but I just liked it and I have a soft spot for tube-fed .22 carbines.

Glenfield was Marlin's economy line differing only in the hardwood stocks used as opposed to walnut. The trigger housing/front band is metal unlike the plastic of today.

The Model 75 is a 10 shot tube-fed carbine Model 60 variant with a 18" JM marked barrel. As pictured it weighs 5.9 pounds.

I took it home, took it apart, and cleaned it. It was very clean inside and the buffer still looked new.

I had to go to my range property anyway so I grabbed some CCI MM-HPs and sighted-in the D4 Weaver that was on it. Like all the older Marlin .22s it shot great. No issues at all.
