A few proofs, but no serial or maker mark that I could find. Straight bolt, 90deg throw.

Needs moar better pictures showing the action, receiver, bolt etc. Post 'em and lets see what we get.

Huh, could be a Polish WZ48 or Romanian M69, but neither look 100% right. The stock is right for a M69, but other things are wrong for example it doesn't have the receiver groove for mounting optics and the sights are wrong. Could be a really old example though.
My money is on an early Polish WZ48 though. Stock and front sight are different though. |

Stock says Hindenburg on it. Best guess so far is WW1 German training rifle of some sort.

DWRZ means Deutsches Reichs Waren Zeichen. You have to concentrate on the proof stamps for the period and on the stamping on the stock to find the answer.

The best we've come up with so far is Hindenburg WW1 22lr trainer.
