Just wanted to throw my experience in here. Got medium 1092s, ordered 9/11, received 12/13. Very pleased with the weight and quality. Sent one email inquiring about wait times during the process, received a very prompt and professional response, and the plates still arrived earlier than I was told they would. Customer service is top-notch, and initial examination of the plates is very promising.
Weight for SAPI mediums comes in right at 4.5lbs per plate. They are thick, and measure true to the advertised 1.2". My carrier is an ATS Aegis II sized for SAPI mediums. Before, they housed ESAPIs with IIIA backers, and it was a tight fit. The RMA plates took a little work, but they fit without concern that they'll blow any stitching. They are standalone, that said, if you wanted any IIIA backers to go ICW this plate, it would not fit in the Aegis. Overall, very pleased with the purchase and customer service. Solid work, Clark. I appreciate y'all taking care of me. |

Taking my battle rattle out to practice today for the first time. Planning on pistol/rifle drills and some cardio to get a feel for the weight of the plates.

AAR weight was very good. We were out a little over three hours doing drills with decent mobility. I started feeling the overall weight of my setup (not just the plates) towards the end. But it was very manageable, especially for the first time using any type setup.

Quoted: So the 1093s fit in the JPC 2.0. It is a very tight fit, but I got them in without too much trouble. Super pleased with both the plates and the carrier - well worth the wait from RMA! View Quote |

Got my plates in today, ordered Monday arrived today, here are some photos of the fit and finish and inside my spiritus systems covert plate carrier, this is my first pc and plates https://i.imgur.com/TYXt29w.jpg https://i.imgur.com/V54RCay.jpg https://i.imgur.com/BpBBuXn.jpg https://i.imgur.com/U77f8du.jpg Both plates have this extra bit of fabric in the corner with the stitching underneath it, doesn’t bother me much but thought would pass along Plates feel pretty light but I have no other experience to compare it to though I after handling these I couldn’t imagine Wearing the hesco 4400 I was looking at weighing 8lbs each these combined weigh just 1lb more than one of those Here are photos of them in the spiritus systems covert for reference for others wanting this setup https://i.imgur.com/hpukO8g.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QD0sj9e.jpg https://i.imgur.com/KqyzORv.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UnITfNR.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Edp4oV2.jpg https://i.imgur.com/gHzqLAO.jpg ( last picture of goofy body pose is for body reference I’m 5’7 155lbs) Plates being so thick and the maximum recommended thickness from spiritus systems they fit but snug and has a little extra Velcro not being used but stay in there nice and tight so not worried Plates fill out my chest and cover vitals well. You ordered on Monday and they arrived today? I ordered in Sept 2019 and they arrived today. Anyway plates are awesome. One is noticeably thicker than the other, not sure about the difference but they are light and the curve profile is great. I also got some handgun rated backpack plates that are incredible.

Quoted: Yeah I saw that long lead time on rma so I check to see if anywhere else had some in stock and Brownells had only the medium SAPI in stock which was exactly what I was after so it worked out perfect View Quote |

Oh sweet. Well brownells probably placed an order before me, makes sense. I’m really happy with my plates so far!

@Cclark0719
Love these plates, more more comfortable than the lvl 4 single curves. I was wondering though, does RMA have plans on developing LW multicurved lvl 4 plates? I'd like to upgrade to those next :). The quality, cost and customer service has turned me into an RMA brand whore lol |

I will bring it up in our meeting tomorrow. I know an issue was new tooling and costs associated to that since we're still a small company. I will definitely bring it up again. |

Do we need to go a size smaller for the JPC 2? I recently bought a JPC 2 and its a small. Will the small plates fit in a small carrier?
