Tempted to order a second set inspite of the lead time...decisions decisions.
|
|
Just do it. Other than the wait time there are no negatives about these plates. I also feel like ordering a second set, but can’t do that money-wise right now.
|
|
Just need to know if it will fit thickness wise in my scarab otherwise ill order.

VelSys told me its only up to 1" thick plates that fit into the carrier or else I have to go a size larger in carrier. :/
Do I gamble and try anyway? |

@Cclark0719
Do you offer a military (active/retired) discount? I have some .mil bros that are interested purchasing but using personal funds, thanks! |

I'm planning on picking up the 6x6 side plates, anyone have them?

Hrmm - any reason why these wouldn't fit in a JPC 1.0? I thought both the 1.0 and 2.0 had the stretchy material...

The 2.0 has more stretch than the 1.0. I also talk to Crye and for a plate this thick they said the would recommend the 2.0 of go up a carrier size. View Quote |

I should be getting mine in the next 2 weeks, or so. The 7th will be week 8. I don’t mind the wait, as I still haven’t ordered my carrier yet.

It all takes time, money, and working with material manufacturers. We're excited to release new and even better stuff later on in 2019 and the years to come. have you guys considered an all ceramic or a mostly ceramic/UHMWPE hybrid in order to get thinner plates? It would be great if there were a reasonably priced alternative to the Velocity Systems vs-pbz and vs-pbzsa which run around $1000 ea VS-PBZSA Ballistic Specifications: Model Number: VS-PBZSA Type: Stand-Alone, Multi-Strike Composition: Ceramic Shape: SAPI Thinness: 0.52 Inches/13.208mm Threat Level: 7.62 x 39 Armor Piercing Incendiary (API - BZ), Multi-hit 7.62 x 39 Ball, Mild Steel Core, PS Ball 7.62 x 51 NATO M80 Ball, Multi-hit 5.56 x 45 M855, Multi-hit 5.56 x 45 M855 A1, Multi-hit 5.56 x 45 M193, Multi-hit 5.45 x 39 AK-74, Multi-hit Small 3.60 lbs. 8.75" x 11.75" Medium 4.10 lbs. 9.50" x 12.50" Large 4.80 lbs. 10.25" x 13.25" X-Large 5.50 lbs. 11.00" x 14.00" View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Quoted: Our lead time posted on the website is 8-10 weeks. Of course this isn't what people want but it's been a record breaking summer for us with all the political stuff going on. Also we didn't expect the demand for our III+ to be THIS big. We'd also much rather focus on quality of our products rather than rush them to get done and miss something, especially with the industry we are in. View Quote |
