Suggestions?

Would the soft shell scorp pouches from g code be too tall?

Just guessing, but does Esstac make a short pouch that would work?

I prefer their shorties for 556 & 308, but I don’t run 10-rounders in them.

Blue Force Gear has 10-round pouches, I think.

Esstac and if its too deep you can heat the kiwi up and reform it sligtly and make the mag sit higher. You'll have to put somwing in the bottom of the pouch like a 1" by 1/2 inch hard foam spacer. You can adjust the kiwi internal kydex by reforming the part that squeezes against the mag a little higher up on the kydex with a heat gun. Shouldn't be difficult.

I went looking for the same thing several years ago, and found something.
I don't remember exactly what though. I'll try to dig through my hunting stuff later today and see if I can find it.
I want to say it was made by either 5.11 or Maxpedition. So if I do find it, it should be easy to figure out.
I checked LAPG which is probably who I ordered it from. I didn't find what I bought.
I did find this scrolling through their list, Tactical Tailor 10 round pouch
And I may order one to replace the pouch I have.

It’s the pmag that comes with the ruger precision rifle.

The esstac shorties are low enough but still too high for easy and quick access. What about some magpul ranger plates? I had the same issue. I’m limited to 10 round mags here. But I was able to buy 20 rounders and permanently rivet them at 10. I do t know if that’s an option for you.

As per Ruger, there is more than one Ruger mag available for the RPR; some steel, some plastic.  Please specify.

And yet, only one of those is a 10-round Pmag designed for 7.62mm NATO/.308 Win. (#18067)

Owning a RPR I can 100% recommend dumping the 10 round PMAGS and getting 10 round AICS PMAGS instead. They don't cause the bolt to lock up,  allow longer length OAL handloads, feed better, and eject better on the first motion of the mag release instead of the second. I gave my 10 rounders away and went AICS 10 round PMAGS. Even better than my Accurate AICS mags. More reliably, half the weight and price. Only reason for a normal PMAG would be to hold 20 rounds. Other than that I use a single load sled, 5 and 10 round AICS PMAG. AICS PMAGS dont fit in BFG AR10/SR25 mag pouches, you need the 417 mag pouches that take up 5 slots per 2 mags. Otherwise they fit too tight.
