I want to know how heavy they are.

I would assume about 7.5 pounds a piece. I went ahead and ordered them. Shipping weight was a little over 15 pounds.

That's heavier than I wanted. But for the price, it's worth considering. When they arrive, can you post the true weight?

Thanks

Absolutely. I'll bring it to work and weigh it on our UPS scale.

The video on that page says they're 7.2 pounds per plate. Also mentions their model number: 4S17

Looks like they're rebranded HighCom plates.

I completely forgot to update yall, sorry. The plates weighed in at 7.2 pounds.

On a side note, if you have not ordered from Tactical Distributors, you should. Their customer service is next to none. They emailed me offering me free next day air shipping, when I told them I had already bought them, and they were on their way, they credited my card the shipping I paid.

When I got the plates, they weren't padded very well in the box, and one of the plates had a small tear in the bottom. They apologized and sent me a 10% off coupon. They have a rewards program and always have good sales.

Which surely only coincidentally shares an nickname with the Army's premiere special operations unit, the 1st SFOD-D.
