Castle Rock Tactical.

I have one and it works great...looks like a fold up chair case.  It does have backpack straps and is made in the USA.

Was about to get the LaRue Covert but I'm thinking I like this better.  Like the backpack straps, the overall design, and the normal nylon bag colors.  As soon as they get a navy blue back in I'll get one.  Thanks for the link.

I have the navy blue one...took it into a hotel, through the lobby, without a second look from anyone

BTW it shows in stock

The divider is adjustable or removable and it has adjustable straps for securing the the halves.  Had six mag pockets and two larger ones for whatever...I have spare parts and basic tools in a Plano container.

My wife got one of the Noveske packs under the Christmas tree.  I can't make fit a 10.5 inch bbl with the SRT can on it.  The collapsible stock sticks up about 2-3 inches beyond the zipper.

Well thats no good. Noveske -

Does Eagle make the Noveske bag without the Noveske branding?

I suppose I should have worded that differently.

Does Eagle offer a bag similar to the one with the Noveske brand?

I understand the desire for discreet carry of a rifle, but aside from those in the shooting community, I doubt many would take a 2nd look or thought about many of these cases as long as they weren't covered in pouches and/or Molle straps. There is a lot of cross over now with shooting/tactical gear being used mainstream all made out of Cordura and using MIL/tactical colors. I see Maxpedition gear being used for baby bags, hell most companies make brief cases and such now. I have been using aFoliage Maxpedition Methuselah daily for over a year now and the only person that has ever said anything about it was my wife when I first got it who immediately thought I bought another gun bag.

Again, I think that the people that are not into shooting really have no clue. Vendor bags, popup display cases for sales, and stuff like that all "look" like rifle cases, but no one gives them a second look. My office has 1/2 a dozen of these, and (trust me) an AR fits perfectly in them. I have carried these bags in business atire, as well as unshaven wearing jeans and t-shirt, through airports, hotels, resorts etc and never had anyone give me much of a 2nd look, and never question me etc. All these covert cases are fine but at $100-$150, there are fine alternatives out there, get creative.

When it comes to tactial nylon gear, like slings, cases and tactical vests. BlackHawk Products Group is the way to go for me. Life time warranty, 100% bulletproof design and some of the best quality products out there. I have one of their Omega EOD vests, and all of my ARs wear BlackHawk SWIFT slings. I'm getting ready to order one more case from them for my SPR. It's good stuffAnd the company was founded by a Navy SEAL.

Great case I have one myself.  But it is NOT made in the USA.

Hmmm....All of My Black Hawk stuff I have (Omega EOD vest, SWIFT Sling, Pouches, Load bearing harness, Omega V drop-leg holster for my 1911 and several weapons cases) All had "Black Hawk, Honor As A Way Of Life" and "Made In The USA" tags attached to them when I took them out of the package.

Did they just recently (within the last two years) start farming out to other countrys? I bought a New Model SWIFT Sling and a 34" rifle case with those tags on them a like a year and a half ago. Unless black hawk are liars?

No most of their gear (since the companies inception) has been made overseas - mostly in Vietnam. It's a reason why many looked down on Blackhawk - they charged Eagle prices, but made their product in Vietnam.

I know my bag (I've had over 2 years) was not produced in the US.

All of their stuff should not have had "made in the USA" tags then. Nor should supposed "licensed BH dealers" like the ones at the gun show I always pick my stuff up from be marketing it as such. thank you both for the correction. I shall ream their ASS the next time I see them at the show. Not that it's not good stuff, I just buy US first. Like I hope everyone in the US would. Even if it costs more

I stopped buying BlackHawk ever since I found out they stopped making their product here in the U.S.
There are other great companies that I will give my business to who DO make thier products here.
BlackHawk = Cheap shit.
Just an FYI, this Larue Tactical case is made in the USA and is very nice.  http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=314

Pick one and mod the inside to your liking.  they lock too.

I would do this and put a false back with the rifle behind it.

I don't know where sampsonite is made though.

If SHTF traveling with athletic equip may raise eyebrows (not the camping chair case thought).  Luggage would just look like clothes.

Thanks for posting!!

I use the Bucket Boss. It fits my persona and has NEVER been made as gun. It will hold two broken down carbines and my other gear easily. There are some nice pictures by 80sgyrene in the first link.

Do you know if an assembled AUG with 16" barrel would fit?  The biggest issue is it is about 10" high with optic mounted, I wasn't sure if the Castle Rock bag has enough 'give' for it to fit...

I was looking at the folding chair bags yesterday at Wally World.  I think one of those Castle Rock bags with something like this attached to it would turn it completely invisible.

This case is nice, has velcro holds for you rifle.  Comes in 2 different lengths... 36" is perfect for most carbines.
