The Jungle Bag is phenomenal, one of my go-to items. Packs down very small and is surprisingly warm for the size. The bivy is decent, doesn’t breath all that well but that’s been my experience with most bivy sacks. I like it due to how compact it is. I also have some of their other bags like the Softie Elite 3 and one of the lower rated ones, can’t remember which specific model off hand. Both of those bags are great and balance durability/size/warmth well. |

Finally got a new belt. It’s a nice starting setup I think. Just want to add a tubes cummerbund to the carrier, and ifak for the belt.

I went that route backpacking around the Faroe Islands and Iceland, then up over the edge of the Arctic in May/June and it was warm enough. I only had to throw on my wool sweater and thick socks inside the bag one night in three weeks. |

I rolled the dice and purchased some crAsianye precision (IDOGEAR) g3 wannabes from aMaZoN. They're actually pretty legit. Double stitched, YKK zippers, rip-stop material. Obviously they're are no CP G3, but they're also 1/6 the price for larping around in the woods. Recommended to order a size bigger then normal and they fit perfectly.

However for some reason the molle on it didnt line up exactly with my mag pouches so it's a little wonky. The Subgun is an esstac molle placard, fits almost exactly over the velcro even though its a tad bit smaller, and has an interior pocket on it. Semms a bit more rigid than the velocity, which is good. 308 is the esstac dedicated 308 panel. I just got a 3 pistol version of that case and I cannot fit a full size pistol with a light and an optic in there without it really compressing the optic/pistol. I have to firmly close the lid. I like how securely it holds everything. You're not going to hurt a RMR or 507C with closed cell foam.

Recently switched out a back belt mounted IFAK kit to the Roll1 trauma kit that fits into the back plate pouch on my carrier.
Now I can sit down in cars/chairs almost normally in full kit. I don't know if that's a priority to you but it sure feels good - cannot recommend it enough. I keep the back belt section empty now in case I want to move the roll1 down to the 1st line. On the belt it takes up more molle rows than other IFAKs but it doesn't stick out as much either. |

View Quote I recently bought the 4 gun version. Make sure you pull the foam under where the lights sit. I forced the guns in with lights on and let them sit there for several days. It allowed the foam to kind of mold around the lights. Now the guns kind of snap into place when putting them in, if that makes sense. Also, make sure you put magazines into place so the foam doesn't deform into those spaces. There is still some pressure when closing the lid, but it seems like the right amount. Keeps everything in place. |
