@KaerMorhenResident

In that picture I have the Jungle Bag and their SF bivy sack. The Jungle Bag is phenomenal, one of my go-to items. Packs down very small and is surprisingly warm for the size.

The bivy is decent, doesn’t breath all that well but that’s been my experience with most bivy sacks. I like it due to how compact it is.

I also have some of their other bags like the Softie Elite 3 and one of the lower rated ones, can’t remember which specific model off hand. Both of those bags are great and balance durability/size/warmth well.

Finally got a new belt.  It’s a nice starting setup I think.  Just want to add a tubes cummerbund to the carrier, and ifak for the belt.

Thanks! I love the Nova's and Supernova's. I had the extension in a parts bin and was thrilled when I remembered it was in there, works great

Not my pic, but there a few places that make custom inserts for Pelican cases.  I have one for my HKs.

I got it through Mycasebuilder. They also sell preconfigured ones on Amazon. I bought the insert itself because I could get a better deal on the case elsewhere. I had the label laser engraved by someone on eBay or Etsy.

I rolled the dice and purchased some crAsianye precision (IDOGEAR) g3 wannabes from aMaZoN.  They're actually pretty legit.  Double stitched, YKK zippers, rip-stop material.  Obviously they're are no CP G3, but they're also 1/6 the price for larping around in the woods. Recommended to order a size bigger then normal and they fit perfectly.

@ToyCop

Will the pistols fit in the slots with lights attached, or do they have to be removed every time?  I'm considering one of these cases, but not sure I want to remove lights every time.

The foam under the slide can be pulled and trimmed to fit. The foam is semi-hard and easy to trim with a long razor knife.

However for some reason the molle on it didnt line up exactly with my mag pouches so it's a little wonky.  The Subgun is an esstac molle placard, fits almost exactly over the velcro even though its a tad bit smaller, and has an interior pocket on it.  Semms a bit more rigid than the velocity, which is good.  308 is the esstac dedicated 308 panel.

Thinking about trying out a haley rig as well that I can also use as standalone, but still debating on which size.

@PFran42

Do you have lights on your pistols?  I just got a 3 pistol version of that case and I cannot fit a full size pistol with a light and an optic in there without it really compressing the optic/pistol.

I'm really hoping I'm just doing something wrong or there is something I'm overlooking.

Please @ me back, I'm not super active in this section.

I have Surefire X300U A/Bs, TLR-1HLs and TLR-7As in my case. I just shove them in and eventually the foam molds around the light bodies. No big deal. The foam is fairly robust.

No issues top to bottom though?  I felt like I was reallllllly pressing down on the optic pretty hard and had to force it to shut the lid.

I have to firmly close the lid. I like how securely it holds everything. You're not going to hurt a RMR or 507C with closed cell foam.

Recently switched out a back belt mounted IFAK kit to the Roll1 trauma kit that fits into the back plate pouch on my carrier.

Now I can sit down in cars/chairs almost normally in full kit.

I don't know if that's a priority to you but it sure feels good - cannot recommend it enough.

I keep the back belt section empty now in case I want to move the roll1 down to the 1st line.

On the belt it takes up more molle rows than other IFAKs but it doesn't stick out as much either.

I recently bought the 4 gun version.  Make sure you pull the foam under where the lights sit.  I forced the guns in with lights on and let them sit there for several days.  It allowed the foam to kind of mold around the lights.  Now the guns kind of snap into place when putting them in, if that makes sense.  Also, make sure you put magazines into place so the foam doesn't deform into those spaces.  There is still some pressure when closing the lid, but it seems like the right amount.  Keeps everything in place.
