If you are like me and see no need to get all that high speed MOLLE tac this and that or are just to cheap (like me) and just have some old LC series gear, ya know the pistol belt and suspenders deal.

Let's see what you got! Give me some ideas!

I don't have a pic yet, but I have the LBE as issued and the ELBV setup as well.

LBE-
H- harness (Y harness sucks)
pistol belt
2 M16 mag pouch
2 1qt. Canteens
Compass/1st Aid dsg pouch on left strap
IFAK
butt-pack
M12 holster

ILBV
Hydration pouch
same belt without the canteens

blackhawk suspenders, issue belt, blackhawk pad, 4 gi m14 pouches, 2 gi m16 pouches. worn high and tight.

I modeled my current ELBV on the one above...........I carried a version of this through the very late 80's, and the 90's, and resurrected it after finding I hate Molle gear.

its my old lady in the pics. she had to hold up the pouches because its sized for me not her. she does have tough hands, artist and the army.

Here's some old school, mostly M56 canvas, Individual Load Carrying Equipment (ILCE) rigged for M14.... H suspenders... horzontal weave belt... 5 universal pouches/2 20rd. mags ea. if need be.... .45 holster & a dual mag pouch.... canteens.... M61 field/butt pack... bayonet.... compass and bandage pouches.
