Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Danner Striker GTX Boots

Anybody have any experience with these? Danner has on thier website the non Gore-Tex model for $75.00. Also someone said that all Danners run on the narrow side,even the wide width's. Anything to this? TIA, Nick

That's pretty much what Danner says; "compared to other brands, the Danner last tends to be narrower"(paraphrased). They're not drastically narrower, though. The Striker is a really good buy in boots. I've sold bunches of the Desert Eagle (a very similar desert boot) without a complaint. Can't go wrong at that price.
