I have been looking for a while for a non-folding pistol grip stock that retains the original meatyness of the original stock on my Rem 870. Every stock I see out there is thick to the point where the pistol grip comes off, then thins down. Does anyone else have this same complaint or know of a stock that doesn't have this feature?

I have a choate stock on an 870 that I find is similar to the benelli stock. 870's fit me the best and I have shot them the most, so I wanted a pistol grip stock that was similar to the 870 fit. It is hard to match it in a pistol grip stock but the Choate works great for me. I bought the adjustable stock and use it at the shortest length to offset the heavy weight forward feel with an extended tube full of rounds. I bought it from www.uws.com

I have a Knoxx folding copstock for an 870 and it is an excellent product, so their non-folders may be good. The recoil reducing cam in their stock works!
