There was a post awhile ago about it if I recall, I think it was on this board,

The jist (if i recall right).... not worth the extra money, all it is is a nickel finish

I have one.  What can I say, its a 3" mag 870 that doesn't rust.  Works flawlessly and I have put a whole lot of ammo through it.  Its a keeper.
