I bought a 25-rd. box of Winchester Low Recoil buckshot today.  It is loaded with 9 "00" pellets.  I plan on using them in my Defender.  Anyone use this load?  How much less recoil do you feel?  I also bought a 5 rd box of Hornady 12 buck TAP ammo.  How does it compare to the Winch Low Recoil?

is the shot plated?  the unplated 00 buck left a bad taste in my mouth...  awful patterns out of my 18" and 20" cylinder bores.

i use remington managed recoil 00 with excellent results, and i just bought some federal reduced recoil 00 buck to try out...

Thread with some patterns of 00 buckshot

The above thread has some pictures of patterns shot at 55 ft
with Winchester, Remington, Federal and Hornaday Tactical Buckshot loads.

Barrel is VangComped, so that changes some things, but still illuminating I think
