I am trying to figure out why someone paid 405.00 for a
Remington Police top-folding pistol grip stock ONLY. Am I
missing something? This was on an unnamed infamous
auction site recently. It was brand new, maybe it was because
of the word "SWAT" in the description, who knows. Guess
someone wanted one really bad...... Just when you think that
you have people figured out.......

People do really insane things at auctions.

I've seen people at local auctions bid more for Sears tools than they could go down to the store and the same tool cheaper NEW.

Like the old saying: "More money than sense".

I saw one recently on ePay for around $100 IIRC. That may have been early in the bidding war however.

I'd just like the difference between what was paid and what it's really worth.

Well it was worth $405.00 to SOMEONE, so I guess it was worth that.

Maybe it was Feinstein figuring she was doing a public service by keeping it off the streets.
