at Gunstock. A true southern gentleman. I also had the chance to drool over some of his work. I have a picture of him milling an upper at Gunstock for his side cocking handle which I might add..I'm getting done to my M4gery in the near future. If he doesn't mind I'll scan it and post it.
A picture doesn't do it justice. To see Lee explain the benefits of it and demo it makes you say.."why didn't they make it like that in the first place?".
He also had IIRC one of the last shotguns he built at Scattergun.
It was great to meet you and spend time with you Lee.
How did you make out with Grizzly?

I enjoyed meeting you as well, Striker. You guys put on one hell of a get together.

The problem with the Grizzly was caused by using a very underpowered generator. In order to run a 1 hp motor, you need a generator that puts out at least 6000 watts. OOPS!

Grizzly is sending me another electrical panel.
They have been great and did't ask too many questions. Thank God!!!

Essay rifle should be delivered today.

I'll scan the pic tomorrow Lee. It doesn't have the generator in it!

Yea, he e-mailed me said he got to play with the rifle but he couldn't take it home yet cause of the 24 hour waiting period.

Imagine that poor rifle, sitting all alone in that cold, dark shop, thinking that no one loves it...

Lee, I especially enjoyed your story about the TTPH on the sidesaddle.
It was a pleasure to meet you, and it was nice to see the Essay rifle completed so nicely- a job well done.
