Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - do you need 2 separate mags for the Saiga 12 gauge?

I ordered the home defence model hopefully it will be at the store by tuesday. I noticed in the add it said fires 2&3/4 shells and 3' shells. So do you need two different magazines in order to fire the different length shells? Or does it only have 1 magazine that can feed both kinds?

luckily -- the 12ga version will accept either length in the mags.

not so with the 20ga and 410.
