Meprolight makes a front sight replacement for the bead! Thats what I did to mine but then I decided to sell it and get a 590A1 w/Ghost rings! Hope this helps!

If you get the Mepro front sight, you'll need to get the correct drill and tap, as the bead hole needs to be rethreaded. Natchez has the bead and the drill & tap.

I couldn't find it at Nanchez's website. Maybe when I get their catalog in a few weeks, I will see it listed in there.
