I got mine from ebay but you can get it here as well.  The fit isn't perfect and I need to take a dremel to it but it does work.

Coolness....

I have a threaded Browning Buckmark that I wouldn't mind having the ability to mount a light/laser on.....

Awesome.

Do yourself a favor and order the hammer bushing at the very least. I have had mine for a few weeks and after my first range trip, mag does not engage nor does it move a mm when I press the mag release button.

Hey! Finally I can join the 22/45 club. Did the hammer bushing, LCI removal, extractor, and target sear. Had a local guy do the cerakote because I'm not a fan of the green or blue. I'll hopefully grab a Leupold deltapoint pro soon. I've got a sparrow twisted on now.

And without even trying, he shoots, he scores, he owns page 46!!!

My favorite Ruger, stainless tapered barrel MkII target model and my limited edition Ruger branded Silver Stag gut hook knife that my wife gave me.

These two are the basis of my go to kit for short hikes in the woods and bayous closest to where we live.

My deeper woods and water kit starts with my Para Ordnace P-14 and/or Kel-Tec PMR30 and my Ka-Bar Becker BK9.

Pictures to come soon...

A few more pictures of a few of my Ruger MkI, MkII, and MkIII pistols without a flash...or Rugers Noir...

Here she is in her Cabelas Triple K holster (no better holster for these Rugers exists), and my Custom MkIII in her very nice black leather Desantis holster.

Ruger Noir.

Always take some extra mags with you.

And my limited edition hard chrome Magnaport Mark I with a few extra Ruger new production Mark I mags that work great.

Mark III with Silencerco Warlock suppressor and Tru-Glo Tru-Bright LED Light/Green Laser.  It's a little unorthodox to mount it on the top rail, but it is the only place to mount it that allows use of a holster (Black Dog Machine) and she will get her Red dot back with a longer rail that allows mounting of an Insight Micro LED Light in front of it...as soon as Crimson Trace releases a green laser grip for the Ruger Mark III.

2 of 2 non-Ruger rimfire handguns I own, my Kel-Tec PMR-30 with Streamlight and Silencerco upgrades.  Keep the 30 round magazines down loaded to 25 rounds, and keep her clean, and she runs like a sewing machine.  I also removed the factory recoil buffer as it got loose, fell down sideways inside the frame, and blocked the gun from going into battery and firing.

Now that's how to pwn a page.

I was actually on http://www.ruger.com when the home page flash splash changed.
It was an instant MUST have.
It was a NEED, not a want.
My initial impressions are listed below.
I will write up a proper review once I have shot it.

The cons include:
1.  My Mark III magazines with the red medallions and silver eagles on the baseplate will NOT seat and lock in the gun.  I tried with empty and loaded magazines, with the bolt closed and locked open.  I was able to seat and lock a Mark III magazine with an all black baseplate, and I have a belt pouch with 20 of these magazines which I will test later today.
2.  It came with a small rubber plug in the action that fell out when I first disassembled it, and would not plug back in anywhere.  There is no mention of said part that I noticed in the manual.
3.  It came with laminated wood grips, instead of Cocobolo, and yes, I know this is not new, but it still sucks.

The pros include:
1.  Radically improved ergonomics of the safety, which is now also ambidextrous.
2.  Radically improved slide release ergonomics.
3.  "One button takedown" - but be sure the safety is ON, showing the white dots, not the red dots, before you tear it down, or attempt to reassemble it, or it will NOT go back together.  Don't bang on it or test your grip strength, like so many do with their older Rugers.   Side Note: I have no problems reassembling my Mark I, II, and III Rugers.
4.  She is one damn fine, and cool, looking rimfire pistol. See my first quick cell phone pics below.
5.  I bought the first one sold at my brick and mortar LGS.

New to me, (old) pistol. Took it out to the range today, few shots off hand at 25 metres. (82 feet)
Functioned well, seemed to shoot ok.

So my wife made a big mistake....

We went out shooting a few weeks ago.  I had bought her a .22 version of her big Beretta 92 for our 22nd wedding anniversary.  We spent a lot of time shooting that, my Kimber conversion, and my old Mark I.  On the way home, she told me that she thought she wanted to try Steel Challenge, but she wanted "a gun like Cindy's".  Cindy was a woman I worked for almost 20 years ago.  She was an A class USPSA shooter and shot an open .38 Super with a C-more and a comp.  This far later, my wife is still infatuated with that gun.

I'm not building up a 2011 just to put a TacSol conversion on it.  I want her to try Steel Challenge, but I'm not ponying up $2500 for her to try it.  So, wandering around the local gun show today, I spy a pistol to get her started.  It took a few tables to find one that was as low as internet pricing, but it came home with me:

I've already heard that it matches her car.  Pistol will get a comp, TK trigger, Volquartsen internals, and either a Burris Fastfire or Vortex red dot.  Ultimately, it'll get a can (insert ulterior motive here).

Update.  Worked it over a bit.

Tandem Kross comp, trigger, LCI kit and magazine disconnector bushing.  Volquartsen sear.  SCG mount and a C-More 8MOA dot.  Will zero it and let She Who Must Be Obeyed air it out in the morning.  Ran 150 rounds or so through it this afternoon without a hitch.

I needed a .22 for plinking around the house and picked up a Walther P22 this week..I've got all Sig 9mm handguns and this Walther is like holding a feather compared to my Sigs. It came with a laser too and I believe it was $278.00 shipped to my FFL and it came with 2 mags...was only expecting one and picked up another at Midway when I was in Columbia this week. If you haven't been to Midway in Columbia let me say that it is a HUGE complex and really kept up well and looks nice.
