I'm thinking of cheap fastfire on top of a 400$ out-the-door tactical model.

Other option would be an AA kit on a G19 lower. At least 100$ more and no optics option.

And.... Go!

My 22/45 LITE is my favorite gun, hands down.

With a Spectre II on the end, it's a dream. Quiet, fun, accurate, cheap to shoot. Kids and adults, men and women, everyone loves it.

Ditch the LCI and mag safety bullshit (MkIII) and you'll have a great gun.

Do it. I checked out a 22/45 recently for the first time and was like

the next time I had to break down my GSG/Sig 1911-22. Whenever I get around to doing my first suppressed weapon, it'll be a 22/45.

I'm only a couple hundred rounds in at this point and have fed it Aguila, Federal Automatch and Armscor HV. Couple of FTEs with the Federal - no problems with the others. Haven't done any real accuracy testing other than sighting in the FF3. The trigger is pretty Meh at this point, but that'll get better I'm sure.

Fun little plinker, though. Between me and my boys, it'll get shot a lot.
