I've always zeroed my .22 rifles at 50 yards. It works well (for me) as a general hunting and plinking zero. Slayed many rabbits and vermin with that zero.

What's your preferred .22 handgun zero? Why?

I've only ever truly zeroed in one 22pistol.
A buckmark with a red dot on it.

I chose 10 yards because it did what i needed it to do where i was hunting.

I used to zero at fifty but at 63 years of age and with diabetes my open sights are at 25 but my red dots are at 50.

Seems like most people zero at 25 yards. Thanks!

This. Only old farts shoot .22 handguns (mostly), we can't see past 25 yards..........
