Ive got a GSG 1911 22lr conversion currently and would prefer the 14rnd Promags for $18 over the $25 10 round GSG mags.

Do the promags work?

It'll require a slight modification to the top-front of the mag, 2 mins with a file on the plastic where it hits the feedramp of the GSGS barrel.   I've already modd'ed a Kimber mag I had and it feeds fine but I'd rather not file on any more Kimber mags.  

Anyone one have personal experience with the 14round Promags in any 1911 22lr platform? ?

The ProMag rep by & large is that they're a POS.

Stick with better made mags, sir. Buy once, cry once but the quality will be better for you.
