I have heard you can swap these out to remove the mag disconnect, but does that apply to the 22/45, too?

Same parts for both

The gun works fine with the mag disconnect, but switching out the bushing for the MKII is easier and prevents slop of the hammer.

You can also use some washers if you want.

And you can also just chop the two ends off of the mag disconnect so it does not make contact with anything.

In addition to replacing the bushing with a MK II bushing, I replace the hammer with a VQ MK II hammer, and a VQ sear. I have gotten much better triggers than the guns had when I received them.
