I have an early Kimber, Clackamas Oregon, and I have shot it faithfully for years. It has recently had some MIM parts break. I am now going to be able to carry a 1911 off-duty, and I am looking for a good, Fast, smith to fit a new thumb safety, and safety check the whole weapon, and fit some new sights. Some of the bigger guys have quoted me 3-4 month wait times....looking for someone closer and faster, and reliable.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Try the hometown section on this fourm

Try Kimber themselves.

Try local gun shops in your area and see who they recomend.
