Here is how she started when I got her from a trade. Pretty rough finish overall, some minor extraction problems here and there. Pretty much a bone stock Colt 70 Series minus the thumb safety.


I got a deal on a bunch of Wilson Combat parts and had one of the dealers here do some work.

She turned into this. Shooting well, but looking a bit rough.



After a few months of saving my funds up, I ended up getting some more work done to it.

I got a teflon finish in black and some material removed under the trigger guard.

She then turned into this:



The picture quality sort of sucks, but it's also 2AM. I will update with better pictures when I get a chance.

Modifications include:
Wilson Combat beavertail
Wilson Combat deluxe a2 sear
Wilson Combat extractor
Wilson Combat checkered MSH
Wilson Combat Commander style hammer
Wilson Combat low profile tactical thumb safety
CMC adjustable trigger
Novak 3 dot sites
NM barrel with a 70 series collet bushing
Trigger @ ~4.5 lbs.

100% reliable and can shoot better than I can.

I'm just running a set of SA milspec take off grips. I'm probably going to get some VZ grips or something. I don't know yet.

I'm not totally sure. Maybe someone else can clue me in.

I was just told it was a Colt (I think?) NM barrel. It does have the NM prefix though.

There are two lines of numbers on the barrel. The first line has the prefix NM and then some numbers, and then the second line just has numbers.

The gun shoots very good groups when I can do my part.
