What's the best place to pick up a 1911 Carbine Kit? Price, availability, prompt shipping,etc.

The only ones I know of is the Mech-Tech ones. I don't know anything about them, but Brownell's has them for $339.95. My discount at Brownell's makes them $305.33.

If they are in stock, Brownell's will ship the same day you order it.

The stock number for the 1911 kit is-100-000-968

Price is even better, showing $249.95, but it won't let me order...guess that means it out of stock, huh?

That says it was dropped by Brownell's. However, they still may have one in stock. Try calling them.

Ok...give it a shot...everyone seems to be 'Out of Stock' now...wonder what's the deal?
