Anyone have any expiriences with this?

Are parts proprietary?

I kinda like the idea of the polymer frame on a wide body...

I don't have any experience with it, I just researched it, though, and it appears that at least some of the parts are proprietary.  Not sure about the slide or barrel, but I'm sure many of the frame parts are proprietary.  Looks like standard 1911 barrels and slides are compatible with this frame.  Definitely a interesting pistol.  M1911.org info on this pistol and dawson-trading.com has info on the parts.  Hopefully this will help
