The only Scratches on the gun are on the front right side of the frame. .Sad but oh well what can you do. I wonder what a piece like this goes for. And NO I won't tell you what I got it for.....You would hate me.

I know little about it, I assume its all original. But if you guys have a source for me to verify it against I will check.

And no, I don't think she's ever been shot. The insides are Wayyyy to clean for that. I have no plans of shooting her anyway.

Just FYI, that looks refinished and repolished as the edges [unless its the pics] are not crisp as they should be. It may just be the pics and the lighting causing it to look that way and either way it's a hell of a Bday present. I hope your Dad enjoys it and make sure its fired with a new recoil spring [keep the other one] and with milder ammo. Watch for hammer bite if your Pop has larger hands.

I thought the exact same thing. Unless the pics are real fuzzy, the lines do not look very sharp and the stampings look polished. Nothing wrong with that. Still a very cool piece.

I have no idea how to tell myself, I guess you would have to see it in person to decide. But It could be the camera, I've only used it a handful of times and know little to nothing about how to take a decent picture.

I did take a look at the gun again the stampings are actually pretty damn fine with the exception of one or two letters that look as if they weren't stamped hard enough.  Maybe an outdoor photo would be better.
