Cylinder & Slide is one whom I would check with. There's several ads in American Handgunner for top tier 1911 'smiths if you want a list of whom to call for quotes.

Les Baer, Rock River Arms. Equivalent in quality? Wilson, Nighthawk, etc. Look at RRA, their stuff is amazing. |

Contact Bob Reeves at Nighthawk. He is awesome to deal with. I had some work done and turn around time was about a month.

Another vote for Evolution Armory. Did some work on a Les Baer for me, and now are doing a overhaul on a Colt Commander (frame slide and barrel are about the only stock parts not being replaced).
They send me picture updates of the work being completed and do top shelf work. |
