Seems I'm on a bit of an Italian Inox kick - just added this one to go along with the Italian Brigadier I picked up a couple weeks ago. I have a problem... but I'm learning to live with it.

Dropped into the local gun shop today and came upon what I think is a somewhat interesting Colt Commander.

It was a police confiscation/seizure/evidence pistol from Puerto Rico, with a case number etched on the frame. The flats have been polished, with no markings remaining on the left side, and faint marking on the right. The sharp edges have been carry-beveled, with the extractor flush with the rear of the slide. The Armand Swenson thumb safety is meticulously fitted. It has fixed MMC sights.

The Pachmayr grips and MSH will go, but it's probably going to stay as is.

They had a "Glocktoberfest" shindig going on, and it was  $100 off all used guns over $500, plus they were giving away $50 coupons for orders over $200.

I think I did pretty well- $550

Interesting.  Is there any way to find out what that case was about using the case number?

Been wanting a G20 for a while, and saw this one at the pawn shop the other day.   Definitely hasn't been shot much, has Tru Dot adjustable night sights with nice bright tritium and a tungsten guide rod with 20lb recoil spring.  Walked out with it for 400 out the door :)

There is, but I'm going to give PR a few months to get their affairs in order.

Good call. I didn't know if that's something that could be found on the internet, but it makes sense that it wouldn't be.

Nice.  I imagine those tanks soak up 10mm recoil nicely.

I had one in 9mm for a while.  It was just too big of a jump from a Glock 17 for me.

Nice.  Still after one in FDE myself.  It must be one of them ghost guns, because I cannot for the life of me find one.

Probably the most Underrated pistol since it's inception IMO... They shoot oh so smooth. But regurgitating people like to piss on them for being jammomatics. I've never been able to make one fail using OEM, Mec-Gar magazines! Clean the residue and debris out of the magazine bodies and replace the springs every 2 or 3K rounds... and 99+% of the time nobody else will get a 92FS, Inox, or Brigadier to fail either!

I grabbed one of these, a steel Jericho 941 9mm "semi-compact", NIB and unfired for $400:

Came in the case with unopened paperwork. I always wanted a Baby Eagle/Jericho/Uzi Eagle. I love CZ clones. Technically, this is a Tanfoglio gun, as from what I read, the parts are made in Italy by Tanfoglio, then finished and assembled in Israel.

I bought 3 Colt 9mm 1911s within 2 weeks. I can't get enough of that polished blue finish! I'm so tired of my black and FDE plastic guns!

My Review:
Three 9mm Colt 1911s - Three Weeks - 968 Rounds – Initial Reflections

Colt LightWeight Commander 9mm (alloy frame)

Colt Combat Commander 9mm (steel frame)

Colt Competition 70 Series 9mm (steel frame)

Not much of a shield fan but I got it for $250 OTD so I kind of had no choice. The trigger isn't that bad. A little heavy but a nice crisp break. Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet.
