at 50 yards I plugged a target dead on, the size of an oatmeal container with my 229. I was very pleased :)

You can throw a Sig 150 feet?  
An oatmeal container is what about a 6" diameter?

yeah it rules...my next will be a sig 226 9mm

I even made some 100m shots with my 226 in 9mm and was able to hit a mansized target.
I guess with some proper training I could even make aimed COM shots.
But it's always fun to look at the startled faces of the other guys at the range when I put out a target at 100m. When they see you can actually hit it at that distances with a "wimpy" 9mm makes them drop their yaw.

Love my 226, wouldn't want to trade it for all the money in the world.
