This company makes buffers for the Beretta 92/96 series. Has anyone used them or know anything about them?

Yeah, I bought a pack for my 96 Compact.  I figure anything that will lessen the stress on the alloy frame and theoretically prolong its life is worth a shot.

You just put the buffer on the guide rod / spring and reassemble the gun.  I've had mine in there for about 1000 rounds and it seems to be holding up well so far, with no ill effects observed.  I plan to shoot it until it disintegrates, to see what kind of problems that will cause.  If one of these can tear up and jam the gun, I want to know what to expect.
