I'm shopping for a concealed carry pistol that is .40/.45 caliber, a subcompact less than 6.5", single stack and under $600. Whether its SA/DA or DAO may not be a big deal. Maybe I can ease up on the price some. I find a Sig P239($640+/-) and only an advertisement for a Para LLDA C6.45, MSRP $825, and I'm not even sure they are available. Would like to have some input from the experts.
Thanks

You might also consider a Sig P229 in .40 and get the .357 Sig barrel for it.  Uses the same mags.

Glock 36?
A used Kimber carry model?

Double ditto on the Glock 36.  You might also want to consider a Glock 27 .40 S&W as it fits all your criteria except the single stack magazine item.  It is extremely concealable even with the double stack mag and packs quite a punch for its size.

Have you considered the Kahr K40 and P40?

I found the Glock 36 grip to be just a wee bit bit large, not in thickness but front to back. The Kahr P40 felt very good but on discussion with the experts it seemed they're concensus was the Sig P239 would be more comfortable to shoot if I wanted to go out back and burn a box. The Sig felt good, bigger that the P40, but still an excellent feel. And I realize many of you members will be jealous but I took my wife along and after she handled a few pistols kept insisting I stop screwing around and buy something I wanted (as long as it wasn't too big for her). So not to be greedy I put the Gold Cup back. I'm sure the Sig will do just fine and appreciate the advice from all.
