traded for it.has a finish that looks like np-3,a medium gray.not as bright as it looks in the pic.cant decide if i like it or to make it black.what do you all think?

The rest of the frame looks to be in good shape...taken care of, no nicks or wear.
My guess is it was intended to be that way by the previous owner. I'd leave alone it for now, shoot it as is, then decide later, why be hasty? My main concern would be how it shot, hopefully sweet. It looks good to me the way it is, but that's just my opinion. |

Eh, it's a Glock. I like 'em, I have 3, but I could care less about the finish,just like I wouldn't really care what the finish on a circular saw was like, they are more "tool like" than other pistols to me. My 19 does have a fair amount of finish worn of the edges so it doesn't look as sissy as when I got it.

Well if you don't like it I think Glock Inc will refinish it for about $50.00, just send them the slide. I think they charge $20 to refinish a barrel.

the guy i got it from had a smith refinish it with this np-3 type finish.anyone know who can o.d green the slide?prices?
