Where could I look to get a handgun as close as possible to the Beretta M9 that the military uses?

The Beretta 92FS and the Beretta M9 are pretty much identical.

Beretta sells "M9" marked 92FS's. How much closer can you get?

I have and like the M11 (Sig 228) better, but I am forced to carry the Beretta M9 over in the desert. You can buy the Beretta M9 just about anywhere.

I think the Beretta 92FS sells for around $559.00 these days

your local dealer

I love mine, it is my favorite pistol. Call me un american but I like it far better than my 1911.

92FS, or get the M9 special edition.

GREAT handgun. I've beat the snot out of mine and it keeps on chugging. Just get factory mags, and you'll be all set.

Get a Sig 229 or 226..
At least try holding one, and if possible shooting one..

Easy! Buy an M9!

Beretta is selling commercial M9's. I have one in my gunsafe. They are only a little bit more than a regular 92FS and they come with the military markings, dot/post sights, and original profile dust cover. Also, there are no ugly "Warning: Read the Manual" legalistic BS markings on the M9 pistols unlike the 92FS.

Link to Davidsons page for the M9
