Anyone read the lastest issue of shooting times. They had a article in there about a new 1911 type handgun and it shoots a 50 caliber. I wonder how all of the 45 1911 fans are taking this.

That gun has been out for a while. Consensus is that it is a cool toy for the enthusiast, but way out of the price range for the average user.

It is one of those "If I were rich" guns for me.

What he said. If I could find HP ammo I'm comfortable with, I'd even carry one. It's 2800 dollar price tag precludes me even holding one.
